Barbercon returns with a bang for a third year in a row to bring together thousands of barbers and cosmetologists from around the world for two -days of workshops and events dedicated to their profession.

This global festival was launched in 2016 by Lee Resnick, the founder of Barbershopconnect, a social networking site exclusively for barbers. Barbercon originated as a live networking event for the barbering community and since expanded by offering more than just professional development for those in the field.

“There is a culture surrounding the craft of barbering that has really grown over the past several years,” says Resnick. “Barbershopconnect’s Instagram page has over a million followers now, and while we started Barbercon first and foremost as an educational opportunity for aspiring barbers to learn from the best in the business, we have seen it evolve into a lifestyle event with individuals and brands outside of the barbering space.”

This one-of-a-kind festival will feature hair tutorials, education classes, product demonstrations, and more, which will take place at the Knockdown Center in Queens. This event has sold out for the past three years and is responding to its growing demand by expanding to two days, offering a VIP package, and opening its first outdoor festival area. iHeartMedia’s Power 105.1 FM, “New York’s Hip Hop and R&B” has also partnered up with the event to bring even more fun to this dynamic festival.

Everyone from the top talent, amateurs, and those just interested in the hair community are invited to join.

See you there, Bushwick.

Barbercon will take place on June 10th and June 11th at the Knockdown Center in Queens on 52-19 Flushing Ave, off the Jefferson stop on the L train. General and VIP tickets are available here.
