On a Sunday afternoon less than two weeks ago a 29-year old man named Ivan Martinez was shot in the head and subsequently died on Suydam Street by Maria Hernandez Park.
Today the NYPD has released a statement that they have made an arrest in regards of this incident. The man under arrest is 22-year old Christopher Ortiz of 298 Suydam Street. He was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
