Police have released the identity of the man who has been going around Queens neighborhoods flashing his genitals at young girls for months.
Christopher A. Carrero, 23, of Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick, was brought out of the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood in handcuffs late Wednesday night, and is now being charged with six counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child, and six counts of public lewdness.
Police have linked this flasher to nine incidents in Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth, and Woodside, where he would attempt to get young girls’ attention, then expose his genitals and flee the scene on his bike.
According to police, the latest incidents occurred on Nov. 2 at 7:40 a.m. on Madison Street in Ridgewood when the suspect approached an 11-year-old female exposed himself and fled on his bike. Minutes later, at 7:45 a.m., the suspect approached two female victims — 12 and 13 years old — on Forest Avenue, made a statement to get their attention, exposed his genitals and fled on his bike.
None of his victims were harmed in the incidents, police said.
According to NY 1, police collared Carrero in Manhattan without any incident thanks to an anonymous tip.
