Mayor Bill De Blasio recently announced the “NYC Love Your Local Campaign,” an interactive program that highlights local businesses with your input, and we want to make sure Bushwick and Ridgewood are well represented!

Submit your favorite Bushwick spots to go  “On the Map,” an interactive map of non-franchise businesses and use the hashtag #LoveYourLocalNYC to further share the love for your favorite haunts.

And this isn’t just for the social media love, these businesses will be in the running to receive expert advice and funding from a pot of $1.8 million dollars of grant money

“New York City thrives on the energy, culture and diversity of small businesses,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio. “The NYC Love Your Local program gives New Yorkers a chance to support their favorite businesses by bringing the local establishments they love into the limelight and giving them the chance to cultivate business through a nomination to win a $1.8 million grant.”

We, at Bushwick Daily, are excited to share the love and have our fingers crossed that some Bushwick favorites will get a piece of the pie!
