How Was This Year’s Red Bull Mini Drome [Photos]

After

last year’s success

of Red Bull Mini Drome that took place at

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church

in Bushwick (before the construction to turn it into condos started), we made out our way to

Brooklyn Masonic Temple

to check out the 2014 edition of the event. Photographer

had a lot of fun shooting the riders, and here is what he has to say about the event: 

“The place was packed with riders and fans hoping to see a crash or two. A girl (name Heather I think) fell and had to be taken out on a stretcher. I overheard later that she had been taken Brooklyn Hospital where X-rays showed a broken hip…

Every metal rail in a 2 block radius had bikes locked up, I did’t stay long enough to see who won. The riders were in teams representing various NYC bike shops, messengers services or simply groups of friends.”
