Get Ready for Out In The Streets Festival this Weekend!

We’re so excited that the Out in The Streets festival is this weekend that our panties are in a wad! If you haven’t seen the vibrant posters up around the neighborhood, we’re here to fill you in: it’s two-day outdoor music and arts festival held on two acres of land at the historical Bushwick/Ridgewood venue Onderdonk House on August 17th and 18th. And now we’ve got additional details, including the hours of the open bars, a map of the space, and a special vendor from The Loom!

All secrets aside, the open bar will be up cracking open ice cold Narragansett beers from 2-3PM on Saturday and Sunday, so come early to get your buzz on and then stick around to see some buzz bands. Headliners of the festival include a blend of local and touring rock/electronic and indie bands, including Pictureplane, Rush Midnight, Heavenly Beat (Saturday) and Doldrums, Ava Luna, Wild Yaks (Sunday). The festival has discounted tickets for 2-day attendees, coming in at a spectacular $20! If you’d prefer to go Saturday or Sunday, the tickets are $15 and $12, respectively. And why not enjoy nature, music, art, food, friends, shopping from The Loom’s own Better Than Jam, and an open bar for 2 days in a row? Also, there’s a rumor of kiddie pools. Pace yourself people!
