Last week, we asked you to submit nominations for the best sandwich in and around Bushwick. Through comments on the website, direct emails to the editor and responses to our Instagram question, we received a LOT of nominations.
Many, of course, were duplicates. But, in total, you nominated 16 sandwiches from 16 different local businesses. And honestly, my mouth was watering just doing the research to make sure all of these sandwiches exist! There are some extremely tasty options.
Some of the businesses in this poll had multiple sandwiches nominated. In all cases when this happened, we listed the sandwich with the most nominations.
We would like to make it very clear that Bushwick Daily has not and will not take bribes in exchange for votes or do anything to intentionally and directly influence the outcome of this Best of Bushwick poll. Additionally, the order of all of the options below is completely randomized.
That said, nominated Bushwick businesses are allowed, and even encouraged, to promote and advertise themselves as a part of our Best of Bushwick series to encourage their fans to vote for them!
This poll is set so that there can only be one vote per device. Please respect the poll and only vote once. Nominations were made directly by readers, between the time period of Nov. 1 to Nov. 8.

This poll seems like it was composed by someone living in Manhattan or Williamsburg who fondly remembers tinder date before and after meals. Onderdonk and sons has been permanently closed since August and Best Deli is on Myrtle and Bushwick.
