Nine days ago Mayor Bill de Blasio ordered that all non-essential businesses shut down to curb the spread of coronavirus. Today, the city remains in a state of emergency, communities continue to cope with tragedy and stories of exceptional New Yorkers working together to support their communities.
The official order from our local officials and the CDC continues to be one of strict social distancing to flatten the curve and to keep the most vulnerable among us safe.
With everyone cramped inside, it’s difficult to support the best bars, restaurants and venues as everyone scrambles to adjust. However, local resident Erik Hehrmann has made it a little bit easier to support your favorite breweries by publishing a list of New York City Breweries who are still open and offering either delivery or pickup options.
Hehrmann, a photographer and creative director by trade, told Bushwick Daily that he’s, “A beer enthusiast and used to go[ing] to various breweries to pickup beer. Now that we’re all stuck at home, I started looking into delivery options. Which lead me to believe that compiling a quick list would be helpful to others, too!”
The full list can be found here but we’ve also included some of our favorite Brooklyn Breweries below. If there are any missing breweries on the list you can suggest an addition or edit through the form on the main page of the published list.
