Way back in the old days we used to have to go all the way to Williamsburg to get our proper vintage clothing fix. And when I say way back in the old days, I actually mean five months ago because that’s about when it all started to happen in Bushwick. Classic (yet lonesome) Bushwick vintage stores (Friends Vintage and Urban Jungle, among others) were joined by four younger siblings. And when I say younger, I mean, ehm, vintage…Well, let’s take a look at them shall we?

Where: 16A Wilson Ave (between George & Noll St)

Who: Lucy Ann Wheeless

What: Classy vintage made of pleasant materials Lucy Ann used to sell from her studio on Lorimer. When her next rent raise came, she decided to bring her collection to Bushwick.

Who: Katy Freeman and Alison Mantilla

What: Embellished vintage fashion from Katy and Allison who making their items utilizing their theater backgrounds.

What: High-end fashions from nearly every decade of the 20th century, but also some adorable every day items.

Price Average: $30-40 but Jean Paul Gaultier corset goes for a lot more!
