Elsewhere Space Hosting a Free Virtual Music Festival Tonight

The Coronavirus Benefit festival is being held in a virtual replica of the Elsewhere Space Club Venue and will be headlined by American Football

The popular Bushwick music venue and art space, Elsewhere, is opening up a second location tonight for a coronavirus relief benefit concert. The free music festival starts at 6 p.m. and the headliner American Football is sheduled to play their set at 11:20 p.m.. This is a virtual show, hosted on Mincraft servers where builders have created a replica of the Bushwick Elsewhere venue. The main show is free but VIP passes will be available shortly before the event for $5. The Elsewhere event page states that VIP passes get you, "access to special VIP areas in-game, exclusive in-game merch, and access to the VIP areas in Discord, where you can talk directly with the artists and with [the elsewhere team]."

The show is presented by Virtual organizers Open Pit, who have put together previous Minecraft festivals like "Coalchella" and "Fire Festival

Elsewhere says, "we've been working during the lockdown to find ways to keep our community engaged with the love of music and events. [W]e've collaborated with some great partners to build experiences that raise funds for both our employees during the lockdown, and for COVID-19 relief organizations during the crisis." 

All proceeds from the show are going to Good360's COVID–19 relief efforts. Good360's mission is, "helping transform the lives of those in need through the distribution of needed goods in the background of coronavirus."

The full lineup includes American Football, Anamanaguchi, Baths, Bean Boy & Folie, Drive45, HANA, Iglooghost & Kai Whiston & Babii, Lewis Grant, Meishi Smile, Nebita & Atura, Onlytom, Planet 1999, Robin & Murder Club, Six Impala, Skylar Spence, Wavedash, Y2K & Sleepycatt.
