We had such a great response to our first outdoor bar guide that we have decided to do it again! So here’s part two. Catch some of Summer’s hottest parties, or just enjoy a sunset in a hammock, while sipping on a refreshing beverage.

Miss out on Part One of the guide? Check it out here!

1. Norwind’s

“There aren’t many places where you can get authentic Spanish food the way we are used to eating it from our parents and grandparents,” long-time Bushwick residents Norman Mendez and Nicholas Reyes explain as the impetus for opening Norwind’s in 2016, a spacious outdoor bar serving classic Puerto Rican dishes, such as chicharrrón and mofongo, with a modern twist. To accompany their fun selection of culinary fare, they also offer their popular, original “Henny Sangria,”  as well as affordable daily drink specials and a bottomless Sunday brunch.

Norwind’s is located at 1043 Flushing Avenue.

2. Cape House

With inspiration hailing from Cape Cod’s plentiful clam shacks, Cape House was brought to Bushwick to fill the void of a seemingly non-existent traditional seafood shack scene. However, don’t expect your typical New York cod-based fish and chips; this restaurant opts instead for haddock, giving a more distinct flavor that you can find traditionally made on the shores of Cape Cod. If you’re still debating between a lobster roll or a clam strip roll, just order up $1 oysters during happy hour, and try their house beers on draft. Up for staying a while? Check out the DJs spinning in the basement at nearby dance venue Rose Gold into the wee hours of the night.

Cape House is located at 2 Knickerbocker Ave.

3. The Three Diamond Door

Known for its lively Friday and Saturday night dance parties, The Three Diamond Door also offers a nice backyard where people can converse with local characters who frequent the bar. If it’s a beer or shot kind of night, visit their art deco bar to learn the drink specials; if you’re in the mood to celebrate, ask the friendly bartenders to pour you their prosecco on tap; and if you’re looking to chill, then cozy up with a delicious cocktail in one of their chic leather booths.

The Three Diamond Door is located at 211 Knickerbocker Ave.

4. Marco’s

After recently celebrating their second anniversary, Marco’s is still going strong underneath the J train. Take advantage of cheap happy hours every day  until 9 p.m. and drink specials like $6 beers and shots that are available all night. Although Marco’s is relatively new in age, it certainly has an old divey soul: You’ll find a jukebox as well as a solid oak and brass bar that was built in the ’50s. With a beautiful, picnic table-clad backyard, patrons are encouraged to soak up some sunshine and sip on all-day $7 frozen drinks –– a perfect summer hangout at just the right price.

Marco’s is located at 1071 Broadway.

5. Fine Time

Proclaimed as an urban oasis, Fine Time is an inviting dive bar with a large backyard patio decorated with vivid local art. Offering more than just a rich outdoor aesthetic, Fine Time’s drink specials are equally impressive –– such as free popcorn and hot dogs with your drink order every night. Form a team, order some $11 Bud Light pitchers and test your wits on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. for trivia night, where prizes –– and your bar tab –– are at stake. Happy hour runs from 5 – 8 p.m, featuring $6 beers and well shot specials, as well as an extensive frozen margarita menu.

Fine time is located at 84 Central Avenue.

6. Heavy Woods

Landing a spot on Thrillist’s “The Best Happy Hours in NYC” list this year, Heavy Woods gives you two chances to catch happy hour, for the early birds on weekdays from 3 – 8 p.m, and for the night owls from midnight until 4 a.m. With a wide selection of whiskeys, tequilas and mescals, along with 14 draft beers, they have your drinking bases covered. For all lovers of Cajun cuisine, what comes out of Heavy Woods’ kitchen is arguably an even better reason to stop by than the drinks. Classics dishes like jambalaya, po’ boys and crawfish mac n’ cheese bring southern flavors to Brooklyn.

Heavy Woods is located at 50 Wyckoff Avenue.

7. Divine Bar & Grill

As you enter Divine, you’ll find a relaxed bar outfitted with a pool table and a charming garden out back –– perfect for enjoying a little hookah with friends al fresco. If you’re thinking of dropping by this casual Bed-Stuy locale, a Thursday visit might be your best bet: In addition to free pool and $3 margaritas, there’s also a weekly comedy showcase featuring acts who have appeared on HBO, Comedy Central and more.

Divine is located at 896 Broadway.
