Ghosted – It’s A New Cocktail Release!

What is it?

Bushwick cocktail business Wandering Barman is releasing a new white negroni cocktail with an event they’re calling “Ghosted.” The drink features house made Bianco Amaro and Bianco Vermouth, paired with a crisp, London dry gin. Even better: complimentary food will be catered by Hudson Table and music by a local musical act called Chukwu

Utopia Bagels Has A Pop-Up at Evil Twin!

What is it?

The Queens bagel brand Utopia Bagels is running a pop up at the craft brewer Evil Twin, over in Ridgewood and will be offering an impressive array of breakfast sandwiches and other lunch items.

Where is it?

Evil Twin Brewing, 1616 George Street.

When is it?

11:30 a.m., until sold out. 

How much is it?

Free admission though the bagels’ prices vary.

A Local Street Clean-Up!

What is it?

Help keep Bushwick clean by volunteering with the Clean Bushwick Initiative to clean around the Morgan L stop. All supplies will be provided and volunteers will receive half-off on select drinks at Pine Box Rock Shop.

Where is it?

Meet-up point will be at Pine Box Rock Shop, over on 12 Grattan Street.

When is it?

12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

How much is it?

A Floral Pop-Up for Ukraine!

What is it?

Join Stay Forever and Flowers for the Cause, a floral studio with an emphasis on raising funds for marginalized communities, to raise money for a group called the World Central Kitchen. The group says they cook meals for Ukrainians in need. Flowers have been donated by Stolen Magnolia and Stems Brooklyn

Where is it?

When is it?

11:00 a.m., until all bouquets are sold.

By donation. 

It’s A Discussion About A Book: Lastgaspism!

What is it?

Editors Dan S. Wang and Daniel Tucker are arriving at Ridgewood’s Woodbine to discuss their new book Lastgaspism: Art and Survival in the Age of Pandemic, recently out from Soberscove Press in Chicago. their collection of critical essays, interviews and artist portfolios are focused around the idea of breathing, “allegorical and literal.” Some of the book’s New York-based contributors will also come around toparticipate.
