Bushwick Daily and DorDor Gallery Host “Green,” an Event Exploring Community-Based Solutions to Environmental Issues


Tickets are on sale now for “GREEN,” Bushwick Daily’s two-day event exploring community-based solutions to environmental issues. The event, happening this Friday, July 30 and Saturday, July 31, will take place at DorDor Gallery, located at 45 Irving Ave.

GREEN will feature a collection of eco earth architecture, sustainable fashion and environmentally conscious video art, including screenings of the short film “AFTERIMAGES OF SOLASTALGIA,” which recently premiered at Venice Architectural Biennale. 

GREEN will also feature live music, DJ sets and talks with local leaders on community solutions regarding eco-awareness and sustainability.

“We are having this event to bring the community together,” said Alec Meeker, publisher of Bushwick Daily. “We’re extremely excited for it and are grateful for all who have helped to make this event happen.”

On Friday, GREEN will start at 8 p.m. and run until 2 a.m. On Saturday, GREEN will run from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Tickets cost $15. Bushwick Daily subscribers receive a 50% ticket discount and 1 free drink with admission with emailed promo code.

About AFTERIMAGES OF SOLASTALGIA“: What does it mean to hold nostalgia for the Sun? How does one come to define an awry effect that takes place when radiation of ‘the solar’ wanes and dissipates and suspends solar predicates to a “Life”? This project sequences future-present images that gradually become that of our present by the revelation at dusk.

Art on Display: “Metaphysical” NFT extended exhibition.

About “Metaphysical”: Is an IRL/digital group show curated by @maxkulchinsky featuring artists such as @blcksneakers, @iartsometimes and more. A first of its kind in format, metaphysical will feature ten physical pieces shown at DorDor Gallery in New York City and ten accompanying digital pieces as NFTs from a selection of the fastest-growing North American creators in the NFT space, including established and emerging blockchain-based artists.
