The Bushwick-based slasher flick “Psychotic!” will return to Williamsburg cinemas for three special screenings before hitting video on demand (VOD) later this month.

Shot and produced in Brooklyn (primarily in Bushwick) the crowdfunded thriller follows a group of “hard-partying hipsters” as they’re stalked and savagely murdered by the Bushwick Party Killer —  a masked maniac with a unquenchable thirst for bohemian blood.

It’s up to struggling artists Tim and Stuart to figure out who keeps killing the life of the party. Bloody mayhem surrounds the two heroes as they barely pay their rent on time, search for love in all the wrong places, and try to salvage their friendship, all while trying to unravel the mystery and keep themselves alive. A tall order, indeed!

The film premiered at Brooklyn Horror Film Festival in 2016 and has since picked up several awards, including Winner of Best Feature at the Cannabis Film Festival and Best NY Feature at the Upstate NY Horror Film Festival.

Check out “Psychotic!” at these three cinemas in Williamsburg:

Jan. 25, 7:30 p.m. at Nitehawk Cinema, 136 Metropolitan Ave.

Jan. 26, 8:00 p.m. at Film Noir Cinema, 122 Meserole Ave.

Jan. 27, 6:30 p.m. at Videology, 308 Bedford Ave.
