It’s getting close to turkey time! If you’re sticking around for the holidays, check out some of these Thanksgiving-themed events. A couple of the events are happening just outside of Bushwick proper (not too far, don’t worry!), but there’s no better holiday to make peace with your fellow Brooklynites.

Peaksgiving

Tuesday, 8-11 p.m. at The Bell House, 149 7th St.

Brooklyn Occult Electronic performers give thanks for David Lynch and “Twin Peaks” with a special one-night-only event at The Bell House, featuring a performance originally commissioned by the David Lynch Foundation.

Fucksgiving 2017

Tuesday, 9:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. at Bizarre Bushwick, 12 Jefferson St.

The Fuck You Revue celebrates the annual tradition of Fucksgiving, an alternate celebration where a star-studded cast of all trans and non-binary performers share their joy, rage, and everything else.

Turk N Twerk

Wednesday, 9 p.m.- 2 a.m. at C’mon Everybody, 325 Franklin Ave.

Come shake your tail feather to 90s dance music and bring food donations for the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger. Bring four non-perishable food items and you get a free well shot!

Crashes in love

Friday, 10 p.m.-4 a.m. at Mood Ring, 1260 Myrtle Ave.

A special dance party for those lonely souls who stayed in Bushwick for the long weekend and need to grind out their emotions on the dance floor.

?Thanksgiving art party

Saturday, 7 p.m.-12 a.m. at Michael Alan Studio, 566 Johnson Ave.

An annual get-together for all the misfits in the city to make new friends, talk about art, make art, and inspire each other. There will be performances on the studio theater throughout the night, free coffee, and supplies to draw with! Movies will be projected, including “Vincent and Theo.” Tickets cost $20.
