Do You Run a Project That Supports the Bushwick Community? Apply to Win This Grant of Up to $3,000!

The deadline is swiftly approaching for local community organizations to apply for a grant of up to $3,000 that can help them with their work enriching the Bushwick community.

Citizens Committee for New York City, a long-tenured micro-funding organization, will consider applicants to the grant cycle after the deadline this coming Monday, January 23.

The grant application is easily accessible online and is open to all groups with a specific community mission.

Bushwick is home to many previous winners of the grant: in 2016 alone, 15 local organizations, including Bushwick City Farm, Bushwick United Head Start/Early Learn and the Woodbine Street Block Association, won 18 grants and received a total of $34,400 in funding.

Citizens Committee also operates the Love Your Block grant initiative that has funded many a Bushwick project as well.

Do you run a local community project that could use some funding? Head on over to the application form here. We’ll have our fingers crossed for you!
