An immersive night of performances and talks, Lost Lectures is ahead of us. On June 5 art blogazine Hyperallergic and The Lost Lectures will collaborate for the second time in row and this time they’re set on a crazy, scary unchartered location, which will be announced to the ticket holders two nights before the event.
Lost Lectures is a unique lecture series of enchanting talks from secret locations, taking them far away from traditional corporate and academic environments.
The awesome lineup for June 5 of artists announced so far includes rock stars, satire, contemporary art, journalism, and cinema. Ed Fornieles, Blonde Redhead, Andrew Kalleen, Josephine Decker, Jon Ronson are on the bill and so you can expect nothing less but an entertaining night. The evening will be filled with exciting, different, and inspiring ideas.
Did we mention there is STILL another secret guest? Angela Cruz, Event Manager for Hyperallergic, sums up what to expect in the evening, “The night is meant to be a completely rare experience in a unique untraditional location and we’re hoping people walk away having had fun and having experienced something new.”
The first 100 people that arrive will receive a free Hyperallergic x Lost Lectures custom edition Moleskine. There will be free Brooklyn Brewery beer, ZICO coconut water, and Rekorderlig cider. The secret venue is a location that the general public does not typically have access to. It’s tucked away in a hidden and industrial location.
The partnership between The Lost Lectures and Hyperallergic brought last year an audience of over 750, and this year they’re expecting to repeat the success.
