Miley Cyrus Submitted a Short Bondage Film to Bushwick’s NY Porn Festival [UPDATE]

UPDATE: Miley Cyrus withdrew her submission to the festival.  “Miley was proud to make a film with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Jones. Neither she nor Quentin are participating in this ‘festival’ in any way,” told Miley’s rep to HuffPost.

A face not unknown to Bushwick ragers, a kid star turned provocative sex symbol,  Miley Cyrus has submitted a short film to NY Porn Festival to be held in Bushwick’s Secret Project Robot on February 27 through March 1.

Two minute long “Tongue Tied” is a beautifully produced, sensual film rich in bondage imagery but definitely not a pornographic material. Miley doesn’t appear naked, she’s wearing latex panties, fishnets and her nipples are tapped off similarly like at the Club Shade party she was spotted at during NY Fashion Fashion Week. The black and white film was created by director Quentin Jones in collaboration with the production company Cadence.

“It’s a pop take on S&M,” told the festival founder Simon Leahy to NY Post. “She’s starting to become more of a contemporary artist.”

The film, which was released in May and is currently available on Youtube, has been used by Miley during her Bangerz Tour last year.

According to the Post, Miley most likely won’t appear at the festival in person.

Besides Miley’s film, the first edition of NY Porn Festival (February 27-March 1) will feature a number of indie porn material and talks. The tickets range between $5 to $20 per day; the weekend festival pass is $69. Stay tuned for more information.
