Because we love fancy occasions involving Bushwick artists all dressed up, we won’t miss Norte Maar’s annual benefit at Pace Gallery in Chelsea on Monday. Yes, Norte Maar, Bushwick’s fav non-profit for arts, will honor poet Bob Holman, and introduce tap dance sensation Andrew Nemr + CPD Plus, Gleich Dances Contemporary Ballet, and a poetry jam!
The proceeds from the benefit will go to Norte Maar to fund its abundant programming with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Endangered Language Alliance in support of the PBS program Language Matters with Bob Holman and the Bowery Arts + Science in support of The Bowery Poetry Club.
