Gov. Kathy Hochul watched the Buffalo Bills game with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Mayor Zohran Mamdani at Murphy's Sports Bar in Astoria, Queens, on Sunday, the last day of early voting, City and State reported, while Republican Bruce Blakeman campaigned from Long Island to Rensselaer County.
It was the first time Ocasio-Cortez had campaigned in person with Hochul this year, according to City and State, though she appeared with the governor last month at an official event on data centers in the Hudson Valley. “I think this is the example of how we must come together to win, period,” Ocasio-Cortez told reporters of campaigning with Hochul despite their ideological differences, City and State reported. “The stakes are too high for us to be consumed by the narcissism of small differences.”
