Watch the NSFW Trailer for the Locally Shot, Indie Summertime Drama “White Girl”

A film shot in nearby Ridgewood which took Sundance by storm has been hailed as this generation’s answer to the gritty, drug-fueled landmark film “Kids.

White Girl,” a movie about an ill-fated romance between the title character and a love interest who shares her interest in cocaine, promises to be a heady drama starring summertime in New York—and should be well worth a watch, especially for locals.

Netflix acquired the streaming rights to the film this past winter, and a theatrical release will take place in September.
