Imagine: Just you, Bushwick November melancholy, and sweet live jazz. Oh, add a $4 beer & shot combo to this picture to increase the vibrations in your fingertips. Did you just sigh in pity because we don’t have a proper jazz club in Bushwick? Well, sigh not because The Brass Bottle, a live jazz club on Central Ave, is opening its doors tonight!

John Paul Dickinson, a native southerner and a jazz admirer, grew up in a household of jazz musicians. He could not bear the lack of jazz clubs in Bushwick any longer, so he decided to change it. Making 201 Central Ave (at DeKalb Ave) a home to The Brass Bottle, he will open the doors of his new bar tonight at 5PM. The performances start at 10:30PM and will feature Roger and Showtime and Underground Jazz Duo.

The Brass Bottle will be open from 6PM until 4AM on Tuesdays through Sundays (the bar will be closed on Mondays).

Other things to look forward to include 40oz brass monkeys, an interactive chalk wall, and lifesize jenga. The speakeasy downstairs is said to transport you to the 1920s in an instant!

Follow The Brass Bottle on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates! See you all tonight!
