Thanks to the heat and humidity this week, several city agencies are warning New Yorkers to take extra precautions.
According to the National Weather Service, “The combination of heat and humidity is expected to make it feel like it is at least 95 degrees for two consecutive days.”
Cooling centers and public pools will be open with extended hours while the warning is in effect.
