This July, the most epic beach party you can imagine will be coming to our neck of the woods all summer long. Long Island City based brewery Rockaway Brewing Company is launching La Playa NYC, a pop-up beer garden on Woodward Ave on the Bushwick/Ridgewood border, QNS reports.

An empty 5,000 square foot lot will be transformed into a beach-y paradise complete with beach chairs, umbrellas, volleyball nets, mini-pools, and grill stations.

Rockaway Brewing Company will bring together local farm breweries to serve a wide selection of beers. “We were looking for more places to share our beer with other communities [outside of Long Island City]”, explains co-owner of Rockaway Brewing Company Marcus Burnett.

La Playa NYC will also feature walls for local artists to display their work, DJs, guest chefs, beer talks, and other special performances.

The sickest pop-up beach party-beer garden combo of the summer is starting July 4th and running until at least September, possibly longer weather-permitting. See you there, Bushwick!

La Playa NYC will be located at 176 Woodward Ave. Hours: Sunday-Thursdays 5pm-12am, Fridays & Saturdays noon-12am.
