Fine and Raw Chocolate, Little Skips Café and 108 Lives Project have once again come together to bring you all the things you could possibly need for a Friday night out on Valentine’s weekend: chocolate, dancing, comedy, burlesque and live nudes! Usually to get all that you have to go to at least three parties, but this will all be in one place Fine and Raw’s Seigel Street location.
The 3rd Annual Bushwick Love Party is scheduled for Friday, Feburary 12th and will be hosted by comedian Johnathan Ziegel. DJs iLLspokinn, Chew Fu and DJ Pony Clement will be spinning, and there will also be a burlesque performance by Sara-Beth Bomba, belly dancing by Valerie Levine, and a showcase of local artists sketching live nudes.
Proceeds from the event will benefit 108 Lives and its current project rebuilding a 600-year-old village temple and a schoolhouse in rural Nepal. Raffle tickets will be for sale for a fall 2016 trip to Nepal with the group.
Bushwick Love Party promises to be a “community-driven charity event that welcomes anyone who’s ready to party for a good cause.”
The event begins at 8pm and takes place at Fine and Raw’s headquarters at 288 Seigel between Bogart and White, off of the Morgan Avenue stop on the L train. RSVP on Facebook and follow on Twitter and Instagram. Tickets are $15 in advance and $25 at the door.
