Today, Bushwick Bakery opened its second location on Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood. Conveniently located behind the M-train Seneca Ave. station, the location is ideal for commuters wanting to grab a quick coffee and pastry from the case.

Bushwick Bakery appeals to everyone in the neighborhood with their affordable prices. They offer $1 coffee, any size, and the Coperaco Coffee beans are available for purchase by the pound. For those of you who don’t like your coffee black, there are other options like cappuccinos, lattes, moccachinos, hot cocoa, tea and more. Plus, they offer soy and almond milk.

Every day from 7 am to 7 pm, you’ll be able to purchase treats like pain au chocolat, croissants, blueberry cheesecake and more. My personal favorite is the freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. Apricot, linzer, chocolate strawberry and sugar cookies are also on the menu, none of which exceed $2. This could seriously be dangerous for my waistline!

Another highlight on the Bushwick Bakery menu is the quiche lorraine with the perfect mixture of onions and meat. For vegetarians, the spinach quiche is a nice option with a flaky pie crust. I enjoyed my quiche and $1 large coffee standing by the window of Bushwick Bakery, the perfect spot to people watch.

We’re excited for Bushwick Bakery, and we wish owners Jean-Pierre Marquet and Steve Sciacca great success at the second location.
