Let’s not fool ourselves. Cinco de Mayo is not exactly a big deal in Mexico (except for the state of Puebla where the holiday is called El Día de la Batalla de Puebla or The Day of the Battle of Puebla). Cinco de Mayo is, however, widely celebrated in the United States primarily by Mexican Americans and by their friends who swear by everything Mexican (guilty as charged). And honestly, what better place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo then Bushwick? We can all come together as a big family and have a delicious Margarita from one of these fine establishments.

Do you know of some other great Margarita/tequila specials? Leave us a comment!

Also after all that drinking don’t forget to eat some good Mexican food.
