Department of Sanitation workers were cleaning behind the dumpster at a Rite Aid in Bushwick yesterday when they discovered the body of a 31-year-old man who was probably murdered, Daily News first reported.

The sanitation workers found the body around 10:30 a.m. behind the Rite Aid at 960 Halsey St., which is near Broadway and the Halsey Street station on the J train. Cops said the man had suspicious markings around his neck which could indicate foul play, according to Daily News.

The city Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death. The man’s identity hasn’t yet been announced to the public.

We’ll be filling in this story as we learn more, so check back for updates.
