Police are looking for a group of six people who followed a man off the L train and mugged him on the street.

On Friday, Jan. 19 around 1:30 a.m., the 24-year-old victim got off at the Halsey Street stop near Wyckoff Avenue and George Street in Ridgewood where he was followed by a group of three men and three women who had also been on the train, cops say.

The group then allegedly attacked the man in front of 1682 George St., taking his jacket, wallet containing cash, Beats headphones, a gold chain, and a gold ring he was wearing.

The suspects then ran away on George Street. The victim wasn’t badly hurt  and didn’t need hospitalization, according to police.

Surveillance video from Wyckoff Deli shows the group leaving the Halsey Street station just before the mugging. The suspects — three men and three women —  are in their 20s and wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. You can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website.
