Police have arrested the gunman who fatally shot a man in the groin after a dispute inside a check-cashing place in Bushwick on Friday.

Around 1 p.m., Efrain Rivera shot Shaheem Bernard, 20, with a 9-millimeter gun inside CFSC Check Cashed at 785 Broadway, which is next to a kid’s clothing store and across the street from Fat Albert.

Emergency personnel took Bernard to Kings County Hospital but doctors couldn’t save him, according to police.

Rivera was arrested on Friday and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
