Norte Maar has become one of the key terms for arts in Bushwick over the years. This  501(c)3 non-profit organization  was established in 2007 by curator Jason Andrew and choreographer Julia Gleich. The organization operates in the very Bushwick, DYI fashion from Jason Andrew’s apartment/art space. Norte Maar has been regularly putting up the art shows, creating dance performances, organizing literary events, and supporting collaboration and inspiration across the creative disciplines. Furthermore, Norte Maar and Jason Andrew organize popular Bushwick “gallery walk” Beat Nite.  Providing consistent quality, Norte Maar in an invaluable part of this neighborhood, and you should not miss their next event.
