Kein Klub at H0l0

Saturday, January 17
Kein Klub returns to H0l0 for another night of left-of-center club music, this time featuring three distinct European club lineages. The lineup includes DC Salas, the Brussels-based DJ and resident at Fuse and Kiosk Radio known for deep, hypnotic selections; Privacy, an Australian-born, Berlin-based DJ and Panorama Bar regular playing slow, heavy club music rooted in EBM and dark disco; Intergalactic Gary, a key figure of the Dutch underground with releases on Clone and Dekmantel; and Brooklyn’s own Beartrax, founder of Melodize. The Danley sound system is tuned for pressure and clarity. No photos, no videos, two rooms running in parallel until 6 a.m. Capacity is limited—come early and settle in.

Sana Sana, Fraternal Twin, and Prophet II
8 p.m. | Purgatory, 675 Central Ave., Bushwick
Sana Sana brings their heavy, dreamy waves of guitar from Queens, alongside Brooklyn’s Fraternal Twin, whose recent single suggests a louder, darker edge to their established slow and spooky sound, and Prophet II, who mix blissful guitar solos with frenetic noise rock.

Soap Gene Premiere and Celebration
8:30 p.m. | The Makers’ Ensemble, 281 North 7th St., Brooklyn
Join the public premiere and celebration of Soap Gene, a horror-comedy short film. In the film, five couples discover that only one of them likes cilantro, leading to an erotic and bloody debate. The event includes a screening, talkbacks from the creators, food, drinks, and mingling. Directed by Ali Lynn Roberts, written by Hannah Weisz. Dress code is camp-casual. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The film contains implied sex and gore. RSVP encouraged but not required. Follow @soapgenefilm on Instagram.

AGAPĒ Presents: AISHA

AGAPĒ kicks off 2026 with a free RSVP event featuring an international headliner and stacked local lineup: AISHA, AKR, ANDRE-KX, and PARADØX. Free RSVP does not guarantee entry—admission is first come, first served and subject to venue capacity.

New Year New-To-You Night Out
6–12 a.m. | Brooklyn Roots Collective, 255 Randolph St., Bushwick
Fresh starts and great vibes at this evening of sustainable shopping, art, and plant-based tastings. Browse a secondhand and local maker market, participate in a free clothing swap (bring pieces you’re ready to part with or just browse), and check out a Veganuary tasting featuring vegan cheese and caviar. From 7–10 p.m., Drink and Draw with Richard Burrowes hosts a group life drawing class. Brooklyn Roots Collective’s craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options available throughout.

Fool Around the Block

This monthly queer clown show celebrates the fool in all of us. Performers try out the weird, the grotesque, and their most foolish ideas. Come laugh, hang, bring friends, and make new ones.

Drone Jam and Open Projector
8–11 p.m. | Delight Factory, 303 Saratoga Ave., Brooklyn (C train to Rockaway Ave. or J train to Chauncey)
Every third Friday, musicians, sound artists, visualists, and drop-in participants co-create a lush, evolving composition with electronic and acoustic instruments. Visual artists and VJs are invited to share live visuals, abstract videos, and experimental imagery. Part performance, part listening meditation, part creative laboratory. Bring your gear, laptop, instruments—or just your presence.

The Black Cherry Sideshow
