The live album, which was recorded during a performance last November at Brooklyn Steel, is available on all streaming services and limited edition cassette. Safer, the solo project of Mattie Safer of Poolside and The Rapture, has kept busy this year releasing a steady stream of excellent dance-punk styled singles. He’s wrapping up 2019 with his latest and greatest track, “Countercultural Savior,” a piercing critique of the commodification of self-destructive behavior and consumerism in music. 88 Palms, a funky sounding disco duo, and HNRY FLWR, who is prepping for the release of his next record, so expect to hear some new music.
Saturday, November 23
