Wild Nothing is wrapping up a string of November dates with one final performance on Wednesday night at Elsewhere. After releasing their fourth studio album, Indigo, in August 2018, the band shared a live album entitled Live At Brooklyn Steel in September. The live album, which was recorded during a performance last November at Brooklyn Steel, is available on all streaming services and limited edition cassette.  Kate Bollinger, who just released her great five-song EP, I Don’t Wanna Lose, on vinyl and Office Culture, who shared their second album, A Life of Crime, earlier this month, are also on the bill.

Thursday, November 21

Mean Siders, Daddies, QWAM, Julep Maisey at Trans-Pecos, 8 p.m.

The fierce Brooklyn trio, Mean Siders, just dropped their most ferocious batch of tunes yet with their latest EP, All Of Us. Thursday night at Trans-Pecos is the official release show for All Of Us, and the trio had enlisted some similarly high-energy acts for the occasion, including New Jersey punks Daddies, garage punks QWAM, and the scrappy indie-pop of Julep Maisey

Friday, November 22

Safer, 88 Palms, HNRY FLWR at The Broadway, 8 p.m.

Safer, the solo project of Mattie Safer of Poolside and The Rapture, has kept busy this year releasing a steady stream of excellent dance-punk styled singles. He’s wrapping up 2019 with his latest and greatest track, “Countercultural Savior,” a piercing critique of the commodification of self-destructive behavior and consumerism in music. 88 Palms, a funky sounding disco duo, and HNRY FLWR, who is prepping for the release of his next record, so expect to hear some new music.

Saturday, November 23

True Dreams, Wooing, Powersnap, Fraidycat at Alphaville, 8 p.m.

True Dreams just released a ripper of an album in No. 1, which is out now on Brooklyn imprint King Pizza Records. The garage-punk duo are celebrating the release of No. 1 on Saturday night at Trans-Pecos with their similarly ferocious labelmates Powersnap, and the uber enchanting Wooing. This show also features a special reunion performance from Fraidycat!
