#3 Weird Womb, Laziness Record Release @ Shea Stadium, 20 Meadow St (FRI 8PM, $?)

This show celebrates the release of Weird Womb’s latest EP. Expect some serious thrashing from the band and the crowd as they amble through the a punk-driven set.

#2 Under the Grass Roof presents: Omar Perez-Then, with art supply drive for Batey 106 @ Bunna Cafe, 1084 Flushing Ave (SUN 9PM, $5 or free with art supplies)

Bunna kicks off a new series of live performances this (and every) Sunday at 9pm called UNDER THE GRASS ROOF. This Sunday come out to see Omar Perez-Then Music and his acoustic Dominican/Caribbean soul music.  Omar is working with a number of artists and performers to bring art and music to underprivileged youth that work in the sugarcane fields of the DR. You can help by donating art and music supplies to the Batey 106 Project.
