The Taco Bell “Cantina,” the chain’s boozy branch, opened last spring at 1359 Broadway on the Bushwick and Bed-Stuy border, off the Gates Avenue J stop. The location is one of 50 new alcohol-serving Taco Bells that the company plans to roll out in New York City through 2022.
Recently approved for their alcohol license, they are now serving a daily happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., which includes three crunchy or soft tacos and a twisted Freeze or a cold tap beer, all for $9.
With a regular drink, a three-taco combo is $6.89, and with beers at $6, and twisted Freezes at $7, the happy hour is totally worth it.
You can make any available Freeze “twisted” with vodka or tequila, and this location also offers a Berry Frosé Freeze for $6. Their website indicates availability of many beers, including Lagunita’s IPA, Modelo Negra, and Tecate.
