Summer is here and that means one thing: we’re eating outside. Last week, Bushwick Daily readers crowned Fine Time as the best patio in Bushwick. Now, we turn to another staple of the outdoor culinary scene: the food truck.
Food trucks are so magical because they’re there for you when you need them most. Need a coffee and a pastry for under $3? Hit a food truck. Looking for a quick, delicious lunch on a busy day? Find a food truck. Hankering for something tasty at 2 A.M. when all the lame, regular restaurants have already shut down for the night? You get the idea.
Our little corner of the city has no shortage of mobile eateries, so now, we’re asking you, our readers, to tell us where we can find the best food truck in Bushwick, East Williamsburg, and Ridgewood.
One note: in your nomination, list the cross streets or general location where the truck sits. If you’ve got the name of the food truck, great. If you can only provide the cuisine type, that’s fine, too. As long as we’ve got some description of the food and the cross streets, we’ll use the powers of investigative journalism to track it down.
