At long last, it seems we are finally escaping what is possibly New York’s longest and grayest winter ever. Spring is here, the weather is getting warmer, and more and more restaurants, cafes and bars are opening their windows and shaking the dust out of their outdoor furniture.
At Bushwick Daily, we are big fans of dining and drinking al fresco, and since we’re on a quest to discover the Best of Bushwick, we want to know where our readers go for the best open-air experience.
Do you take your lavender latte outside to Kave’s safari-esque back patio? Do you bask in the glow of Wyckoff’s Avenue Sea Wolf? Dance the night away in Three Diamond Door‘s backyard space? We want to know!
To be clear: a patio is a paved outdoor area adjoining a business, bar or restaurant (or a bar/restaurant!). So, while we respect if your fave spot has an outdoor bench for smoking/dog watching/enjoying the views of the neighborhood, we’re confining the limits of these nominations to businesses with paved outdoor areas with tables and seats.
We’re taking submissions for any patio in the Bushwick, East Williamsburg and Ridgewood areas.
Tell us where you go to catch some rays—or marry the night—while you dine and drink. Nominate businesses with the best backyards in the comments and we’ll put the top nominees in a poll later this week!
