NYC Beer Week is almost upon us, and Bushwick, historic beer haven, will be hosting a bevy of official and unofficial beer week events. You’ll be able to walk into any beer bar or brewery to score some deals every day, but here are some highlights!
Saturday, Feb. 25; Finback Brewery; 12 p.m.
Finback will be releasing four new bottles and cans at this event, and if you haven’t been to Finback’s beautiful tap room near the border of Ridgewood and Glendale, it is worth the trek.
STOP COLLABORATE AND LISTEN– This double IPA is a collaboration with Sand City Brewing Co. It is dry-hopped with Denali and Amarillo.
HIP HOP AIRHORN-Made with Elderflower and dry-hopped with mosaic and Amarillo, Hip Hop Airhorn is a collaboration with Sole Artisan Ales.
OSCILLATION 8-Oscillation is dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Meridian.
FASTER THAN LIGHT-This is Finback’s last barrel aged imperial stout of the season.

SUNDAY, FEB. 26; THE WELL; 5 P.M.
This event is a Beer Week must. The Well will host a panel discussion and tap takeover with representatives from Grimm, Interboro, KCBC, Other Half, Half Acre and Pipeworks. The panel will start at 5 p.m. in the side room. To make this already epic event even more delectable, there will be Vietnamese food from nhà minh with vegan and vegetarian options available!
The fantastic tap list is almost too long. Some stand outs include Interboro’s Stay Gold, brewed for Run the Jewels, and a collection of Half Acre styles new to the city.

Wednesday, March 1; The Sampler; 7 p.m.
Think chocolate only pairs with wine? Think again. On March 1, Girls Pint Out is pairing 4 beers with 4 raw chocolates from Raw Chocolate Love for a sweet flight you won’t soon forget. Raw Chocolate Love makes innovative raw chocolates locally in Ridgewood. Pairings will be announced the day of!
SATURDAY, MARCH 4; THE SAMPLER; 1 P.M.
Head over to The Sampler for Sour Saturday if you’re still looking for more beer treats. The bar will have a large selection of sours (with an emphasis on local breweries). The surprise tap list will be released the day of! Sours, incidentally, are having a real moment right now possibly due to the rise in popularity of the salty, sour gose.
Address: 234 Starr St. Bushwick
Various times and events; KCBC
And of course look for Bushwick’s KCBC around the neighborhood throughout the week. They will be participating in various popup events, or you can visit them at their brewery.
