Tomahawk is what you call an absolutely unexpected lucky neighborhood find. How else would you explain this amazing hair&nail salon and a fashion store in one? Located at The Loom, Tomahawk will welcome you with truly original but cozy interior- dark walls, old fashioned photos, scissors and art work. Pleasant are also their prices (in comparison with hair salons in Williamsburg): $55 and up for female and $35 for male haircut. But what is really important is that their hairstylists are incredible! Let’s name celebrity Kristin Jackson aka Dimples from Oxygen’s show Hair Battle Spectacular for starters. Recently, this Bushwick gem has received a lot of (well-deserved) attention from the fashion magazines (Teen Vogue, Marie Clare) thanks to the brilliant nail art of Fleury Rose. The salon has a very pleasant homy atmosphere with adorable doggie Bandit sleeping on a couch or running around Chantal, the owner of Tomahawk. Make an appointment and you won’t be disappointed!
