Want to partake in the NYFW festivities without straying too far from Bushwick? Thanks to Chromat, the lingerie and swimwear line of Bushwick resident, a Witch of Bushwick and half of “Bushwick Power Couple,” Becca McCharen, you can.
In the past five years, Chromat has skyrocketed from a small Virginia-based company to an immensely popular New York City brand worn by such celebrities as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Grimes and more. This year, Chromat is even up for a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, fashion’s most prestigious design award.
To celebrate its Spring/Summer 2016 line, as well as five years of unbridled success, Chromat is throwing a free afterparty this Friday at Good Room in Greenpoint. The party, presented by Witches of Bushwick, will feature DJ sets from Julianna Huxtable, Speakerfoxxx, UNIIQU3, and Shyboi, as well as a performance by Chynna.
For those of you who are interested in the clothes as well as the party, you can pre-game with a NYFW runway show livestream in 360° and 180° panoramic 3D views at 8PM before heading to the afterparty at 10PM.
