Guys, I love, love, love makeup… But cosmetics are expensive!! Not to mention with all my holiday shopping and yummy pumpkin latte drinking, I don’t have much time, and some of these makeup tutorials I see require lots of minutes on the clock just to do your eye shadow. So here I am, sharing my secrets to cosmetic success this winter. These are my three favorite looks, all easily doable and cheap from your local beauty supply and drug stores strung along Knickerbocker and Broadway in Bushwick. (All nail polish is from QRS)
Look 1: The Snowbunny
Cost: $16.47
Time: Approximately 5 minutes
When to wear it: The Snowbunny is a light, daytime look, perfect for activities like ice skating, brunch, and walking your dog in Maria Hernandez park with an extra flare.
What You’ll be using:
From left to right: Wet n Wild Mega Liquid Liner in dark brown ($1.99) e.l.f. Studio Eyeliner & Shadow Stick in pearl/glow ($3), L.A. Colors 3 Color Eyeshadow in lotus ($1.99), CoverGirl Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara in dark brown ($5.49) and Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick in rosette ($4 from that lady who randomly sells makeup on Bedford Ave).
Step 1: Do a cat eye with your brown liquid eyeliner. Add white on the inner corner of your eyes and under the eyelids with your shadow stick.
Step 2: Add pink eye shadow to your upper lid, mascara, and smack that lipstick on baby!
Look 2: Winter Wonderland
Cost: $16.48
Time: Approximately 4 minutes.
When to wear it: This work-appropriate look is also easily transferable to a HOT date by candle at The Narrows or any bar dimly lit enough to hide the fact you haven’t refreshed your face all day.
What You’ll Need:

Step 1: First, line your upper lash line with your mineral eyeliner. Then use the NYX Jumbo eye pencil as an eyeliner on your lower waterline and inner corners to brighten it up with some holiday gold.
Step 2: Using your New York Color eye shadow trio, cover the outer half of your eyelids in the purple, and the inner lids in brown. Blend the middle with your finer, a q-tip, anything relatively clean and soft you can find.
Step 3: Mascara, lipstick, done!
Look 3: The Ice Queen

When to wear it: Raves, of course! And also to play pool at an assortment of places along Flushing Avenue.
