5 years ago, Rookery Bar opened and brought British-West Indian inspired pub food to the Jefferson stop of the L. And now they’re celebrating with free wings and an all night happy hour! Don’t pass up on some fun (and free food) to start off your weekend early.

Lets prepare your leather outfit and come to enjoy!!” Sounds like a unique way to spend Thursday night and it only costs $10 to get in.

Nothing screams Brooklyn like awesome live bands, great drinks and cheap admission. This show is only $5 to get in and it has a pretty great set. What’s not to love?

If you’d like a more relaxing weekend, spend it supporting small businesses and local vendors at this weekends farmer’s market inside Maria Hernandez Park. Go for a nice stroll, sample local produce and get to know the people behind the food.
