Midterm elections are this coming November, but the primary to vote for State Senate candidates is next month.
The two candidates for District 18, which includes Bushwick, are community Julia Salazar and current Senator Martin Malavé Dilan.
Dilan has been a Senator for Northern Brooklyn for over a decade and like any candidate he’s received a number of endorsements, including from local politicians like Council Member Rafael Espinal.
