On Sunday, March 12, you can take your pooch to Bushy Tails in the Loom for a yoga class designed to bring you and your furry companion closer together through exercise.

Organizer and veterinarian, Dr. Ezat Luba Yomtovian says that “bringing your dog to yoga cultivates a community of wellness, where owners can meet like-minded people in their neighborhood, dogs can socialize, and we all get some physical benefits from the hour.”

While dogs might not have the same kind of discipline to hold poses as well as their owners, interaction with dogs and dog-lovers is invaluable, and if you don’t like to be separated from your pooch for even an hour, this class is right for you. But, do keep in mind that Bushy Tails is small, so you will have to book in advance to get in on the eight person class ($25).

Dr. Yomtovian’s practice extends past one-off classes such as Doga and includes a monthly pop-up veterinary clinic at Bushy Tails on the last Saturday of every month between 12 and 4 p.m.
