Cops have released security video of a man wanted in connection with the deadly shooting of a Bushwick man last Friday night.
Law enforcement sources said the shooting took place sometime before 6:52 p.m. on June 2 in the area of Broadway and Lawton Street.
Officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the location after the NYPD’s Shotspotter system—a computer program that can detect where bullets were fired across the city—was activated at the location.

Paramedics arrived at the location and rushed Ortiz to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The person of interest in the case is described as a heavy-set Hispanic male in his 20s who was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.
