Eight to ten suspects who attacked a 26 year old man in brutal bar brawl outside of Myrtle Ave bar Vaqueros on Saturday, April 16th are still at large, and footage of the attack has been released by the NYPD with the hope that the public can identify the individuals responsible for the attack, which left the victim in critical but stable condition.
The attack took place around midnight on Saturday the 16th. Vaqueros is located at 1541 Myrtle Ave on the corner of Myrtle Ave and Linden St blocks away from the Myrtle-Wyckoff stop on the L and the M trains, and the suspects fled eastbound towards Myrtle-Wyckoff after the attack.
At the 83rd Precinct Community Council’s public meeting last Tuesday, 83rd Precinct officers informed the public that the proprietors of Vaqueros had met with the precinct to discuss the measures the establishment will need to take to prevent future incidents like this one.
