The fall couldn’t be more exciting in Bushwick. Not only we get to enjoy long October nights with friends hanging out in the backyards, the fall issue of Bushwick Daily created print quarterly magazine, Bushwick Notebook is here with beautiful Kweighbaye Kotee, the founder of Bushwick Film Festival on the cover.
We unveiled the first issue of Bushwick Notebook in June at a rooftop of Cheap Storage building. Now you are all welcomed to join the celebration and pick up a free copy of Bushwick Notebook issue #2 this coming Thursday from 8 to 11PM at The Rookery (425 Troutman St, Bushwick).
Look forward to the night of dancing and merriment with DJ Dyllemma spinning!
Our friends and heroes of Braven Brewing Company will be serving all of the Braven draft pints HALF OFF ($4 instead of the regular $8). Additionally, you’ll be able to sip on a brand new whiskey cocktail called the ‘Referendum’ for $9 (regular price $12).
The happy hour prices will be extended for the entire night, which means 5$ house wine and 1$ off all drafts!
The best news? Admission is free with an RSVP here.
If you can’t make it to the party, the magazines will be soon available for purchase online and for free at our sponsors’ locations (TBA).
Our illustrator, Jeremy Nguyen, the creator of immortal Stranger Than Bushwick comic, will be sketching your butt portraits to commemorate the truly epic butt comic in the current issue.
So if a butt portrait cannot get you to come, nothing will. Only perhaps a little look into Bushwick Notebook itself…
And once again thank you, The Rookery and Braven Brewing!
