Drink to Bushwick this Saturday at The Well’s Blocktoberfest!

Toast your neighbors this Saturday, October 22, at The Well (272 Meserole Street) for Blocktoberfest! Courtesy of New York City Brewers Guild, the annual event will take place in East Williamsburg this year, which is its third year of existence. Whether or not you’re a self-proclaimed beer snob, Blocktoberfest is the celebration of beer you’ve been waiting for!

Occupying the backyard space of Bushwick’s famed craft brew spot, Blocktoberfest will allow you to take your pick from over 20 different breweries between 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m. this coming Saturday, though attendees are also welcome to partake of the 60 draft beers, and more than 100 bottle and can beers, The Well already offers.

“We are honored to be hosting the 3rd annual Blocktoberfest presented by the New York City Brewers Guild,” says The Well’s event booker AJ Raposo. “Bringing beer back to Bushwick (and our building!) has been one of the founding visions of The Well.”

“Aside from the copious amount of beer, there will also be food, live music, and some games to partake in,” he continued. “We are all very excited for Saturday, and can’t wait to drink delicious beer with those who made it!”

What better way to cap off October than by enjoying your favorite beverage (beer) while educating yourself on some delicious local brews, Bushwick!

Also: The Well’s taco truck will be serving yummy Vietnamese tacos by Nhà Minh to help absorb all that yummy beer. There will be both meat and vegetarian options available, plus some sweets, and all of the offerings will be in the $3-$9 range.

Tickets can be purchased before or the day of, are less expensive if secured ahead of time, and are divided as follows: general admission + five 12 oz beers = $30 ($37 day of); general admission + five 4 oz samples = $18 ($20 day of); general admission only (non-drinkers) = $10 ($12 day of).
