On Saturday, August 28, the Bushwick Collective, a local street art group, hosted its 10th annual summer block party. This year’s event featured an array of art made by New York street artists, food trucks, clothing vendors and more than two dozen live performances, including a set by Ghostface Killah from Wu-Tang Clan.
The party was put together by Joe Ficalora, the Bushwick native who founded the Collective in 2012 as a way of coping with the loss of his mother. Since its start, the Bushwick Collective has helped shape Bushwick into one of the world’s biggest street art destinations.
