That’s why we’re back with an eventful Bushweek! If Travis had known about our list, maybe things would have gone differently.
?? Monday: Holiday pop-up market
6-9 p.m. at 25 Bushwick Ave.
Support local designers and artists and buy unique handmade gifts. You can buy ceramics, custom furniture, a small selection of vintage clothing, leather pouches, and customized wallets!
? Tuesday: Theatre workshops
11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Chez Bushwick, 304 Boerum St.
Open to dancers, actors, and movers of all levels. Workshops will consist of two sessions (one next week), three hours each. These classes promise to be an opportunity to crack open your creative impulses, discover new techniques, and explore fresh channels for theatre and dance-making. Cost: $20/session. For all you freelancers looking to kill time during that late-morning slump, this one is for you.
? Wednesday: Where the wild things are
9 p.m.-4:00 a.m. at Bizarre, 12 Jefferson St.
A night of revelry, vainglory and stupendous ridiculousness in the form of music, performance art and more. Feel free to wear a costume from you favorite childhood story or a mascot outfit. Feel free to come half naked. It is a night of free expression and interactive experiences! So bring flowers, balloons, or glitter — it’s sparkle time!
✏️ Thursday: Drink and Draw
7-11 p.m. at Kings County Brewers Collective, 381 Troutman St.
Kings County Brewers invites you to drink and draw with Ella and make snowflakes, tree decocrations, paper ornaments, and more at a monthly meet-up. Come get creative and don’t forget, you get a dollar off each beer while you participate!
? Friday: Free Comedy Show with actually famous comedians
8:30-11:30 p.m. at Precious Metal, 143 Troutman St.
Silver Linings is one of the hottest comedy shows in Brooklyn. Silver Linings is presented by Precious Metal with prominent performers in the comedy industry as seen on Comedy Central, MTV, Late Night TV, national festivals and more. The show is free and occurs monthly on every third Friday. Great drink specials ($4 select beers) and the host will be giving out free drinks all night long.
? Sunday: Ugly christmas sweater party
7-9 p.m. at OmmVibe Bushwick, 1466 Bushwick Ave.
Come vibe with your fellow yoga community at an ugly sweater Christmas party! Enjoy some light refreshments and snacks as you mingle and get to know everybody. There will also be games and a raffle drawing. Winners will receive awesome gifts such as one-of-a-kind, custom jewelry pieces and healing essential oils.
